Virtual Therapy for anger

Virtual therapy available to clients in the Ontario and Quebec.

Does anger seem to take over your actions frequently?

Are you easily irritated?

Are outbursts becoming a regular habit?

Does the anger you have shapes the relationships you have with those around you?

A Grounded Space to Understand and Transform Anger

Anger is natural—but when it starts controlling you, it can hurt relationships, health, and self-esteem. Therapy offers a respectful, practical space to explore what was once helpful but may now be holding you back.

Therapy can help you understand your anger — not silence it, but work with it — in a way that’s healthier for you and your relationships.

Anger doesn’t always look like yelling. Sometimes it shows up as:

  • Constant irritability or frustration

  • Passive-aggressive behaviour or sarcasm

  • Feeling out of control during conflict

  • Emotional shut-downs or avoidance

  • Physical symptoms like tension, headaches, or racing heart

Anger is an action emotion, where it makes us want to do something. When anger takes control of our actions, it often makes us say or do things that we end up regretting. Therefore, anger can impact our health, career, and social life.

It’s not a personal failing — it’s a signal. Together, we can explore what your anger is trying to say.

How we can help with managing anger

In therapy, we’ll create a space where you can reflect without judgment. We’ll work at your pace to:

  • Identify your triggers and patterns

  • Explore what’s underneath the anger — often hurt, fear, or unmet needs

  • Develop tools to respond, not react — learning regulation and grounding skills

  • Understand the root cause of the anger and if it is masking other emotions — the message anger is carrying

  • Practice new ways to express yourself without losing connection

It’s not about getting rid of anger. It’s about building awareness and choice — so you don’t feel hijacked by your emotions

This work is for you if:

  • You’re feeling tension in your relationships because of how anger shows up

  • You want to respond differently but don’t know how

  • You’re tired of the guilt or shame that follows an outburst

  • You want to feel more in control of how you handle stress and conflict

Therapy is a place to be real, not perfect.
If you’re ready to better understand and manage your anger, I’d be honoured to support you.
